First Aid Training for Aviation Personnel

The Aviation First Aid Training Course is designed in accordance with European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations, equipping aviation personnel with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to respond effectively to medical emergencies in an aviation environment.

The course combines theoretical instruction with hands-on practice, focusing on immediate care, passenger safety, and decision-making under pressure. Participants are trained in general first aid principles, including basic life support (BLS), CPR, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), as well as the management of common in-flight medical situations such as unconsciousness, choking, bleeding, burns, and shock.

The training also covers hygiene standards and the proper use and contents of onboard first aid kits in accordance with EU OPS requirements. Additional modules include survival first aid techniques and an understanding of how the aviation environment affects the human body, including crew health precautions, the effects of hypoxia in combination with decompression, pilot incapacitation, and exposure to cosmic radiation.

In line with EASA requirements, the course emphasizes communication procedures, coordination within the crew, and the proper use of onboard medical equipment. Through scenario-based exercises, trainees gain practical experience and confidence in handling real-life situations onboard.

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, participants are awarded a certificate, confirming their competence in aviation first aid and compliance with current aviation safety standards.
