Type Rating Training Program for Indian CPL Holders

At JETSTREAM, we offer one of the most advanced and comprehensive Type Rating training programs in the industry. Our courses combine innovative teaching methods, experienced instructors, and state-of-the-art simulation technology to deliver an immersive and highly effective learning experience. Through an operationally integrated approach that includes Computer-Based Training (CBT), Flight Training Devices (FTD), and Full Flight Simulators (FFS), we ensure that every pilot gains practical experience and real-world readiness using the latest aviation training technologies.

Course Training Outline

Jet Induction Training (JIT)

  • 14 hours of ground school
  • 5 fixed-base simulator sessions (4 hours each)

Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC)

  • 16 hours of ground school
  • 3 fixed-base simulator sessions (4 hours each)

Theoretical Knowledge Training

  • 72 hours of instructor-led ground school, including FTD sessions (excluding exams and review)
  • 18 hours of self-study and computer-based training

Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Training

  • 11 sessions in total
  • 9 training sessions (4 hours each)
  • 2 check sessions (day and night, 4 hours each)

Pre Entry Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) throughout the course
  • Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • English language proficiency (ICAO Level 4 or higher)
  • Minimum 200 total flight hours, including:
    • 100 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
    • 25 hours on multi-engine aircraft (up to 10 hours may be completed in a simulator)
