Airbus A340 to A330/A350 CCQ Course

The Airbus A340 to A330/A350 Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) course is designed for pilots already qualified on the Airbus A340 who wish to transition to the Airbus A330 and A350 aircraft families through an efficient and airline-oriented training pathway.

The programme builds on the pilot’s existing Airbus operational experience while focusing on the technological, operational, and systems differences between the aircraft types. Particular emphasis is placed on next-generation avionics, advanced automation features, aircraft performance management, ECAM procedures, long-haul operational philosophy, and modern multi-crew coordination techniques.

Combining focused theoretical instruction with advanced simulator training, the course prepares pilots to adapt confidently to the Airbus A330 and A350 operational environment. Delivered by experienced airline instructors and conducted in accordance with EASA standards, the programme ensures a smooth and professional transition to modern Airbus wide-body operations.

Entry Requirements

  • Valid ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory credit
  • Proof of 3 months experience & 150 hours min on the A330.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical certificate
  • English Language Proficiency min level 4

Course Outline

  • Web Based Training (WBT) self-study: 8 hrs
  • Flight Simulator License Skill Test: 4 hr
