The Airbus A320 to A340 Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) course is developed for pilots already qualified on the Airbus A320 family who wish to transition to Airbus long-range wide-body operations through an optimized and efficient training pathway.
Taking advantage of Airbus cockpit commonality and shared operational philosophy, the programme focuses on the key technical and operational differences between narrow-body and four-engine wide-body aircraft operations. The training places particular emphasis on advanced systems management, long-haul procedures, aircraft performance, fuel planning, automation handling, ECAM philosophy, and multi-crew coordination in international operational environments.
Combining focused theoretical instruction with advanced simulator training, the course prepares pilots to adapt confidently to the operational demands of Airbus A340 airline operations. Delivered by experienced airline instructors and conducted in accordance with EASA standards, the programme ensures a professional and airline-oriented transition experience.
The CCQ Course has a duration of 10 days.
