Entry Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Mathematics and Physics
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Physically fit and capable of performing technical tasks
JETSTREAM offers a fully approved EASA Part-147 Basic Training Course for individuals pursuing an EASA Part-66 B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).
Approved by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) and compliant with EASA standards, the program combines theoretical and practical training with the required module examinations.
Successful graduates receive an EASA Part-147 Certificate of Recognition and, after completing two years of practical maintenance experience in an EASA Part-145 environment, may apply for an EASA Part-66 B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License.
The duration of the Basic Course is 2400 hours total which is conducted in 24 months and the syllabus includes theoretical and practical training.
The Type Trainings last from 35 to 45 Days and may include On the Job Training (OJT) on the specific aircraft type.
B1.1 – Turbine Aircraft
Covers Modules M1–M17, with emphasis on aircraft mechanical and propulsion systems, including:
Airframe structures and systems
Gas turbine engines and propulsion
Powerplant systems
Maintenance practices and procedures
Aviation legislation and human factors
Basic aerodynamics
B2 – Avionics
Covers Modules M1–M14, with emphasis on electrical, electronic and avionics systems, including:
Aircraft electrical power systems
Instrumentation, navigation and communication systems
Digital techniques and aircraft data networks
Maintenance practices and troubleshooting
Aviation legislation and human factors
Basic aerodynamics
Wiring inspection and repair
Following completion of the Basic Training Course, trainees complete 2 years of practical aircraft maintenance experience (OJT) within EASA Part-145 approved airlines and maintenance organizations cooperating with JETSTREAM, fulfilling the experience requirements for the Part-66 license application.
