Airbus A340 to A320 CCQ Course

The Airbus A340 to A320 Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) course is designed for pilots already qualified on the Airbus A340 who wish to transition efficiently to the Airbus A320 family while benefiting from Airbus commonality and operational philosophy.

The programme takes advantage of the pilot’s existing Airbus experience and focuses on the operational, technical, and handling differences between long-haul wide-body and short- to medium-haul narrow-body operations. Particular emphasis is placed on aircraft systems differences, automation management, operational procedures, performance considerations, ECAM philosophy, and multi-crew coordination in dynamic airline environments.

Combining targeted theoretical instruction with advanced simulator training, the course provides a streamlined and airline-oriented transition pathway in accordance with EASA standards. Delivered by experienced airline instructors, the programme ensures pilots develop the confidence and proficiency required for modern A320 operations.

Entry Requirements:

Valid ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory credit
Proof of 3 months experience & 150 hours min on the A340
Valid Class 1 Medical certificate
English Language Proficiency min level 4
