Airbus A300-600 Type Rating

The Airbus A300-600 Type Rating course is designed for pilots seeking qualification on one of the most versatile wide-body aircraft used in both passenger and cargo operations. Entry Requirements

  • Valid ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory credit*
  • Current ME/IR rating* or holder of other type rating*
  • Holder of MCC** certificate or 500hrs on Multi Pilot Airplane experience
  • Valid Class 1 Medical certificate
  • English Language Proficiency min level 4

Initial Type Rating / EASA

  • Web Based Training (WBT) self-study: 42 hrs
  • Theory Training and Exams: 18 hrs
  • Flight Simulator Type Rating Training: 32 hrs
  • Flight Simulator License Skill Test: 4 hrs

Additional MCC Course / EASA

  • Online self-study: 30 hrs
  • Classroom Theory Training – Instructor: 21 hrs
  • Flight Simulator Training: 10 hrs

Additional Courses (e.g. LVO, PBN, ZFTT)

  • Training Session: 4 hrs
  • Examining Session: 4 hrs
