The Airbus A330/A350 to A340 Cross Crew Qualification (CCQ) course is designed for pilots already qualified on modern Airbus wide-body aircraft who wish to transition efficiently to the Airbus A340 through a focused and streamlined training programme.
Building on existing Airbus operational knowledge, the course concentrates on the specific technical and operational characteristics of the Airbus A340, including four-engine operations, aircraft performance considerations, systems differences, fuel management strategies, and long-range operational procedures.
The programme combines targeted theoretical instruction with advanced simulator training, emphasizing operational decision-making, ECAM procedures, automation handling, abnormal and emergency procedures, and effective multi-crew coordination within long-haul airline environments.
Delivered by experienced airline instructors and conducted in accordance with EASA standards, the course provides pilots with the operational confidence and technical proficiency required for professional Airbus A340 operations.
The CCq Course has a duration of 3 days.
