EMB 135/145 Type Rating

The EMB135/145 Type Rating programme is designed to prepare pilots for operations on the Embraer regional jet family through a combination of technical instruction, procedural training, and practical simulator experience. The course is structured around the operational characteristics of regional jet aviation, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and high-frequency airline operations.

Pilots are introduced to the aircraft’s systems architecture, avionics, flight management systems, and performance capabilities, while developing the operational discipline required for multi-crew jet operations. Special focus is placed on automation management, fuel-efficient operations, abnormal procedures, and effective crew coordination in dynamic operational environments.

The training integrates comprehensive ground school sessions with advanced Full Flight Simulator exercises replicating realistic airline scenarios, including operational disruptions, weather-related challenges, and time-sensitive decision-making.

Delivered by experienced Type Rating Instructors with airline operational backgrounds, the programme provides a professional and operationally driven learning environment aimed at preparing pilots for modern regional airline operations on the EMB135/145 fleet.
