Airbus A310 Type Rating

The Airbus A310 Type Rating course is designed to prepare pilots for safe and efficient operation of this long-range wide-body aircraft. Combining comprehensive theoretical instruction with advanced simulator and practical training, the programme focuses on aircraft systems, performance, operational procedures, and crew coordination in accordance with airline and regulatory standards.

Special emphasis is placed on flight management systems, abnormal and emergency procedures, and multi-crew operations, ensuring pilots develop the technical proficiency and decision-making skills required for modern commercial aviation. Delivered by experienced airline instructors, the training provides a professional, airline-oriented environment that prepares pilots for real operational conditions.

Entry Requirements

  • Valid ATPL or CPL with ATPL theory credit*
  • Current ME/IR rating* or holder of other type rating*
  • Holder of MCC** certificate or 500hrs on Multi Pilot Airplane experience
  • Valid Class 1 Medical certificate
  • English Language Proficiency min level 4

 

* For ICAO licences, items with asterisk are subject to local competent authority regulations and may not be required.

** If no MCC certificate, the course can be integrated in the Type Rating

Course Outline

Initial Type Rating / EASA

  • Web Based Training (WBT) self-study: 42 hrs
  • Theory Training and Exams: 18 hrs
  • Flight Simulator Type Rating Training: 32 hrs
  • Flight Simulator License Skill Test: 4 hrs

Additional MCC Course / EASA

  • Online self-study: 30 hrs
  • Classroom Theory Training – Instructor: 21 hrs
  • Flight Simulator Training: 10 hrs

Additional Courses (e.g. LVO, PBN, ZFTT)

  • Training Session: 4 hrs
  • Examining Session: 4 hrs
